Time & Time Again
Time & Time Again is an ongoing choreographic research project at the intersection of movement, sound, and spatial composition.
Conceived as a transformable, site-responsive work, it adapts to each location through flexible audience configurations, ranging from seated viewing to formats in which the audience moves through the space. The performance is built around live sonic interaction: movement and amplified contact generate sound in real time, creating a feedback loop between bodies, acoustics, and architecture. Rather than functioning as accompaniment, sound emerges from the body itself — as instrument, resonating surface, and listening apparatus.
At its core, the work investigates rhythm as a structuring force of attention, perception, and co-presence. Through shifts in density, phasing, accent displacement, and textural contrast, rhythm becomes a mode of nonverbal dialogue, a means through which bodies synchronize, differentiate, and negotiate relation in time. Drawing on the intensity and collective dynamics of club culture, the project asks what remains essential when layers are reduced: whether precision and minimal configurations of movement and sound can sustain vitality and shared presence.
